Unaware Nagma Devi

Resident of Kirti Nagar, Nagma Devi faced a lot of problems in operating her bank account. Her lack of awareness is clearly depicted when she doesn't even know the name of the bank she has her account in. When given options by our volunteers( Sneha and Nikhil) she recalls its the State Bank Of India.Through the video covered by Priya, we found that she had a pass book but there was no single entry in it. Moreover, her complaints included thet she was not informed, instructed and guided regarding the ATM service. Our volunteers asked her to visit The State Bank of India regarding the ATM services and assured her that they would visit her next week again so as to review her progress and carry her case forward in case any glitches arise. Meanwhile, Sneha also informed Nagma about the benefits of having an account under Jan Dhan Yojna which included subsidy in gas cylinders and an insurance cover for accidents provided by the government, among many others. Thus, our prime concern is to spread awareness among such people like Nagma Devi about the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna and constantly guide them so that they can reap its benefits effectively.
