Ramesh bharadwaj who works as a carpenter in Kirti nagar choona bhatti has opened his account unde pradhan mantri jan dhan yojna in the UCO bank. Our volunteer Varun, in a conversation with Ramesh about his experience, got to know about how he wasn't given all the necessary documents. He was not given his passbook ,on being asked he said that when he realized that he need to have the passbook and when he went to the bank to tell the bank authorities that he was not given passbook. The reply he got from the bank was in order to get the passbook he need to deposit some necessary amount into his bank account in order to have a bank account and get his passbook .This is the reason he have stopped operating his account on being aware of the situation, our volunteers gave him certain suggestions regarding the benefits mentioned under PMJDY. One of his friend was also under the dilemma that they have to deposit a necessary amount.Our volunteers have also given him suggestions regarding bank account and were told that there is no such necessity in order to avail the required documents. They have assured our volunteers that he will visit the bank and ask his query with the concerned authority.
